So I was talking with you on Monday in St Louis about how you did acoustic engineering in college (which as a civil engineering student, that is seriously the coolest thing to hear). And I was wondering, when/how did you decide to just be like "Forget this, I wanna be a rock star!"?
I always wanted to play music for a living…since I was 5 or younger, it’s all I ever envisioned for myself. I felt like getting a degree in music was silly and I always liked math and science, so I found an engineering program that also allowed me to study music. After college, the engineering paid my bills and helped support the band for years. It was the best feeling in the world when I was able to quit my day job and go full time with music. My life has ALWAYS revolved around music, since as long as I can remember.
